Use

Loctite® 55 pipe sealing cord 150m, The threaded sealing cord somewhat reminiscent of dental floss, can effectively replace traditional methods such as PTFE tape, paste and packing twine for sealing metal and plastic threads. Lace the pipe sealing cord around the external thread, wrap the recommended number of turns corresponding to the size of the thread -and assemble. That's all it takes to achieve a leak-tight result. If the gain cycles do not fit, Loctite 55 allows you to turn back without the danger of leakage. Can be used on cast iron, steel, brass, copper, chrome, nickel-plated and galvanized surfaces, stainless steel and plastic parts. Application: You do not need special training to use Loctite® 55. Make use of your old knowledge when applying the new technology to get a uniform seal. Lace the pipe sealing cord around the external thread, wrap the recommended number of turns corresponding to the size of the thread - and assemble. That's all it takes to achieve a leak-tight result. 1. Coarsely grind the thread with a file. 2. Wrap Loctite® 55 around the outside thread the recommended number of times corresponding to the size of the thread. NOTE! It is not recommended to lay the pipe sealing cord into the thread drills with, on the contrary, on the weevil of the thread drills. 3. Assemble the thread. 4. If the threaded pieces do not fit, Loctite® 55 gives you the option to turn back without the danger of leakage. WRC registered for use for drinking water up to 85ºC Meets BS6920.
