Sometimes you have to call a spade a spade. Following rapid growth in the 1960s, the brand has been globally recognized since May 2020 under the company name, nVent HOFFMANN.

Innovative and modern factories sprang up in the UK, Spain and the Netherlands. New markets were taken by storm, including Romania in 2007. Today, the Group employs no fewer than 9000 people in 80 locations.

Nvent MAS

The MAS series consists of lacquered steel enclosures in the IP66 class. All are CE approved and with a single door regardless of size and purpose. Electric cabinets with unique locking system

Note that models with a height of 1000 mm and up have a three-point locking as standard. On heavily loaded doors, e.g. in connection with cooling units, or when mounted on uneven surfaces, this type of lock is a clear advantage. The locking system is built around wheels at the top and bottom. These reduce friction between locking rods and the cabinet itself, so you can close the door more easily while avoiding scratching the paintwork.

The locking bars have also been improved, as they have new plastic holders that ensure precise door closing. Door gasket and gutter work significantly stronger together. If you have an older Eldon electric cabinet, don't worry – the lock is compatible and available as a replacement product.

NVent Hoffmann FOOD
