Ventilation

Proper ventilation creates a comfortable and healthy indoor climate with stable air exchange. Ventilation in homes and workplaces must remove harmful particles, moisture and ensure that the air maintains a suitable temperature.

In our webshop you will find complete ventilation solutions for both residential and commercial environments, whether you are looking for large systems or smaller ventilation components. The assortment includes table and floor fans, duct fans, bathroom fans, flexible ducts, heat pumps and more.

Our ventilation products come from recognised brands such as Lindab, Thermex and Panasonic. Our stock is continuously updated, meaning many items are ready for fast dispatch, while special order items are typically shipped within approximately 10 days. If you have any questions about the products, our team is ready to help. Simply contact us at info@bels.dk or use the contact form.

Table fans and floor fans

Do you need ventilation quickly? One of the easiest types of fans to install is a table or floor fan. They can be set up in seconds and easily stored away when the weather or surroundings change. They are especially useful during heatwaves or in rooms with many occupants.

For example, the Thermex Ariante Tower floor fan can stand discreetly in a corner of a living room or office. It has a range of up to 8 metres and a 70° oscillation radius. You can conveniently adjust the three speed levels using the remote control.

You can also choose a classic table model such as the Thermex Gordon. With a maximum noise level of 57.2 dB at 3 metres, it is a sensible choice for clinics, offices and retail environments. The nylon protective grille adds safety while still providing effective cooling and helping reduce condensation on windows when combined with proper ventilation and filtration.

Ventilation systems

A ventilation system provides the essential air exchange that removes harmful particles and prevents moisture problems. A well functioning ventilation system is necessary both in private homes, where people typically spend 12 to 16 hours per day, and in workplaces that must comply with indoor climate and ventilation requirements.

You can invest in a residential heat recovery system from Nilan, which replaces indoor air through a duct system installed throughout the building. In addition to exchanging the air, heat from the exhaust air is recovered and used to preheat the incoming fresh air. This offers two key advantages: a healthier indoor climate and improved energy efficiency.

As a practical example, consider the Nilan Combi 302 Polar residential ventilation unit. Many modern homes are built according to strict energy standards and are therefore highly airtight. While this improves energy performance, it also increases the risk of moisture accumulation in the building structure and indoor spaces. New buildings therefore require stable and efficient air exchange to help prevent mould growth.

The Combi 302 Polar ventilation unit combines two heat recovery technologies. A counterflow heat exchanger handles passive heat recovery, utilising approximately 85 to 95% of the energy in the extract air.

The remaining energy, referred to as active heat recovery, is managed by an integrated heat pump. The supply air temperature can be increased by more than 30 °C, while during warmer summer months the heat pump can cool incoming air by around 10 °C. Although it can cool the air, the unit is not an air conditioner, as the air exchange rate is lower. Instead, it primarily reduces humidity, which significantly improves perceived indoor comfort.

Achieve a healthy indoor climate with quality ventilation

In homes, harmful airborne particles often originate from cooking, candles and everyday activities. Bathrooms also generate considerable moisture and steam, and even normal breathing affects indoor air quality.

In office environments, air must be replaced regularly to maintain productivity and reduce the risk of allergies and sick days. In production and industrial settings, ventilation requirements are more demanding, making tailored ventilation systems essential for improving both safety and working conditions.

Heat pumps and accessories

A heat pump, such as an air to air heat pump from Ell, Haier or Panasonic, regulates indoor temperature and heats homes or holiday houses in a simple and economical way. Despite the name suggesting heating, a heat pump can both cool and heat the air. The technology utilises the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor air to deliver efficient and energy efficient climate control.

Ventilation – a necessary part of any building

Regardless of whether it is warm or cold, there are several rooms and areas where proper ventilation is essential. Kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and spaces with many occupants, such as open offices and classrooms, all require effective ventilation to comply with building regulations and maintain indoor comfort.

Without adequate ventilation, the air becomes heavy and stale, which can lead to reduced concentration, fatigue and discomfort for occupants. Over time, insufficient ventilation may cause moisture damage and mould growth, which often requires extensive and costly renovation. Investing in a well designed and properly installed ventilation system is therefore a long term and responsible solution for both homes and workplaces.
