How a dehumidifier works
A dehumidifier is a multifunctional product that provides a good indoor climate so that the air becomes comfortable again. If the humidity is too high, there is a breeding ground for boring things like mold, dust mites and mold.
It is therefore a good idea to control the moisture level - both for the sake of your home and your own health.
When does it make sense to use a dehumidifier in your home?

Why a dehumidifier and a tumble dryer are a good combination
The smart thing is that you can avoid using your tumble dryer if your clothes hang to dry while the appliance is in use. In addition to removing moisture from the air, it also produces heat.
In practical terms, the air is sucked into the machine, where the moisture is converted into water. Then warm, dry air flows out of the machine, which dries your clothes more environmentally friendly than the dryer.
How long should it run?
Once you have placed or hung up your device, it does the work itself.
In relation to water damage, we recommend that you leave your dehumidification appliance running for 3-4 weeks around the clock for best results. It can be water damage caused by cloudbursts or a sudden burst water pipe.
The ideal humidity is between 30-50%, and it is therefore a good idea to keep a close eye on the hygrometer until the right level is reached. In addition, remember to keep doors and windows closed and remove any furniture from walls so that the dehumidification gets the best conditions.
Find the right model for your needs
It can be difficult to find the right model for your particular home, as there are a myriad of models on the market. It depends in particular on where in the home you need help to control the humidity.
Is it in a smaller bathroom or in a large carport? It has an impact on which model you should go for. We have both small and large models that either have a water collector or water hose that can be connected directly to your drain. It can be advantageous if it has to run for many weeks in a row.
You can also get models with a timer that notifies you if the humidity is either below or above the recommended level. It makes the whole process easier, as you do not have to keep an eye all the time.
