The Preventa XPS Universal security modules come with a number of technical features. XPSU has protection against accidental changes, the transparent cover on the front prevents changing the function settings. XPSU is easy to install, it has side to expansion module connection, this requires no extra wires. Preventa XPS Universal comes with a wide time setting range, the time delay can be selected from 0.1 to 900 seconds for low and high inertia machines. XPSU is compact as well as flexible. Mounting: 22.5 and 45 mm width, DIN rail or direct wall mount (IP40 housing, IP20 terminals). Only 2 supply variants for all references: 24V AC / DC supply voltage or 48 ... 240V AC / DC All models are available in 2 variants: either with removable screw terminal or with removable spring terminals. Preventa XPS Universal makes it simple to use hard-wired security modules. Via a simple wire, the XPSU intelligent solid-state output is connected to a digital input on the PLC, and in this way the Preventa XPS Universal safety module can send more than 40 different status messages to the PLC (depending on the type)! XPSES is a set of uniquely numbered seal strips used to seal the transparent front cover to prevent configuration changes.
