Use
Access to deep-lying screws is often hindered because the blade diameter of traditional 1000v screwdrivers is too large. However, removing the insulation is not allowed and will also jeopardize the safety of the user. On tools with Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY developed specifically for tasks on electrical parts, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade to achieve up to 33% slimmer blades. Thus, also deep-lying screw and spring elements can be reached without difficulty with slimBits. The insulated slimBits are individually controlled according to the international standard IEC 60900 and make it possible to work safely in areas with parts with voltage up to 1,000 V AC. Furthermore, the slimBites are stored in a smart bit box, which enables an optimal overview of the bit profiles. Manufactured in accordance with IEC 60900. Suitable for screwdriving applications on live parts up to 1,000 V AC, especially for mobile insert. The 6 mm slimBits can only be used in speedE®, slimVario or TorqueVario-S®® electric tools.
