Expose the test of time with a good machine primer

Regardless of the quality of metal, sooner or later steel and aluminum will begin to rust when exposed to all kinds of weather and wind. If you give your production plant, your frequently used agricultural or construction machine a time EFA primer before the actual preferred color, you get supreme protection against corrosion and ugly brown rust spots. The primer is available in matte and silk matt as well as in both liquid and spray form – depending on how you prefer to apply. The silk matte primer 0101 saves you a workflow, as it can stand alone as a rafter primer indoors. 

Get a nice and "well-oiled" tractor with solid rust protection

The 0102 series is the ideal choice for e.g. your beloved tractor, strong backhoe loader or efficient combine. This is a quick-drying alkyd paint with anticorrosive pigment, which after just 20 minutes is dust dry and after 1 hour (both at 20 degrees heat) can be nicely covered with, for example, machine enamel 0130. Of course, the preliminary work must be in order, which is why you should clean the workpiece free of all grease and dirt. Should there be loose paint residues, these are carefully removed and the item in question matte sanded. If there is a need to dilute depending on the viscosity of the paint or varnish, use mineral turpentine or synthetic thinner

If you do not want to expose the body to these chemicals, choose the matte H2O primer for steel. Please note that EFA machine primer 0102 can NOT be overpainted with Hammerlak 0122 or EFAspray 0790! Also note that series 0100 is not suitable for light metal and galvanized iron. 

Floor paint that allows it to spill

With EFAPaint floor paint, you no longer have to worry about wear and stains on concrete, wood and epoxy floors. Their range of indoor products consists of both water- and oil-based versions as well as associated primer cleaner. 

Paint your concrete floor correctly

Before you put EFAdeck H20 Floor Paint, EFAdeck H2O HEAVY, the oil-based Alkyd Floor Paint or Original 451 in the basket, you should be sure whether it is ordinary concrete or vibration-free. The latter must be thoroughly saturated, and therefore require several layers. 

Glossy floors have an extremely dense surface and can advantageously be sanded thoroughly before final treatment. Dilute with 10% water at the first coat if you use EFAdeck H2O Floor Paint, the second time given undiluted. Despite the robust properties of concrete, arm yourself with patience when casting the floor, as the material has a long drying time. Of course, for proper adhesion, the surface must be clean and free of dust. 

Give the wooden floor a strong surface

If it is the wood floor you need to paint, EFA Paint also offers several solutions, whether it is newly laid or previously treated. The water-based floor paint just requires you to clean the surface and when it is free of grease, dust and soap residues, follow up with EFAdeck Primer Cleaner, which removes nicotine and acts as a pre-treatment for floor washing, steam cleaner and high pressure washing. Finally, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Lightly sand for each coat in case you paint several times. 

For basement or storerooms, high gloss is often preferable, and you will achieve a beautiful water-resistant result by priming not previously treated flooring with the version based on Alkyd. If the floor is of older date, set aside time for thorough cleaning. Dilute with 20% mineral turpentine. After 4 hours at 20 degrees, the surface is ready for the next painting and the room will be dry already after 16 hours. 

If the food room is in turn, you can safely use EFAdeck H2O Heavy on both floor and concrete wall. Remember to stir the paint and harden separately before mixing and thus achieve the 2-component effect. Stir again after mixing. Use hardener 0610-06235 for series 0548 and make sure you have the painting work done within 2 hours. For more info on correct application, check EFA Paint's technical and safety data sheets. Although many of us are eager to see the finished result and use the room, don't forget your health – always ensure good ventilation when working with chemicals.

Arsinol wood oil in teak, mahogany or cedar & larch

Has the wooden terrace or garden furniture become grey and sad to look at? We have the solution so that it gets the optimal care and protection. The plant-based wood oil, Arsinol, penetrates deeply and forms an effective protection against the many rain-soaked Danish summers and cold winters that boards and facades are exposed to every year! If you want to highlight the natural glow, color and wood texture without a sticky feel, this oil is an obvious choice. 

How to apply the oil correctly

Is the thermometer between 5°C and 25°C and can you work without direct sunlight? Super – because then all you need for a delicious result is a lint-free cloth or brush – the oil does not need to be diluted. Remove coatings and paint residues with a good wood cleaner and concentrate on one and a maximum of two boards at a time so that overlap is not visible. Wipe off excess oil. The item is ready to touch after about 2 hours at 20 degrees, however, it must dry for a minimum of 8 without risk of moisture exposure. 

Arsinol transparent

If you need a specific wood preservative, but still want to preserve the natural expression of the wood, Arsinol transparent is obvious as a final treatment. The pigment content protects against harmful UV rays, while the active substances inhibit coating attacks. The product is stirred before use and during painting work. 

Arsinol Extra

Sunflower oil belongs in the kitchen, doesn't it? Yes, but the combination of lightfast colour pigment and active substances also adds unsurpassed properties to Arsinol Extra wood protection. Unlike other plant oils, the oil is quite light and does not yellow to the same extent. Your light woodwork on the terrace or in the cottage will therefore stay nicer. 

Dip in Dyrup - that's what we do
